Dünya Hava Sporları Federasyonu’nun (FAI) 119. Genel Kurulu bu yıl Finlandiya’nın başkenti Helsinki’de yapıldı. FAI’nin 96 yıldır aktif üyesi olarak faaliyet gösteren Türk Hava Kurumu’nu temsilen Genel Kurula THK Kayyum Heyeti Üyesi ve Genel Başkan Vekili Dr. Mustafa Cihad FESLİHAN katıldı. FAI Başkanı Greg PRINCIPATO ve FAI Genel Sekreteri Markus HAGGENEY ile THK ve FAI arasındaki güçlü ve gelişen ilişkiler konusunda önemli görüşmelerde bulunuldu.
FAI üyeliğinde 97'nci yılına başlayan THK, uluslararası sportif havacılığın gelişmesine katkı sunmaya devam etmektedir. Bu kapsamda 119. FAI Genel Kurulunda yapılan oylamada FESLİHAN, dünyanın pek çok ülkesinden katılan FAI delegelerinin oylarıyla FAI Başkan Yardımcılığına tekrar seçildi.
119. Genel Kurulda FAI yönetimi ve birçok ülke temsilcileri ile temaslarda bulunularak, THK’nin diğer ülkelerle birlikte yürüteceği proje ve işbirlikleri hakkında görüşmeler gerçekleştirildi.
Yüzyıllık Havacılar Topluluğu olan Türk Hava Kurumu, sahip olduğu geniş ve kaliteli imkanlarla gençlerimize ve bütün havacılık sevdalılarına uluslararası standartlarda nitelikli katkılar sağlamaya kararlılıkla devam edecektir.
The 119th General Conference of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI – World Air Sports Federation) was held this year in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Representing the Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK), which has been an active member of the FAI for 96 years, Mr. Mustafa Cihad FESLİHAN, Member of the THK Trustee Board and Vice President, attended the General Conference.
During the conference, significant meetings were held with FAI President Greg PRINCIPATO and FAI Secretary General Markus HAGGENEY regarding the strong and developing relations between THK and FAI.
Entering its 97th year of FAI membership, THK continues to contribute to the development of international air sports. In this context, at the 119th FAI General Conference, Mr. FESLİHAN was re-elected as FAI Vice President with the votes of delegates from many countries around the world.
During the General Conference, meetings were also held with the FAI administration and representatives of various countries to discuss projects and collaborations that THK will carry out jointly with other nations.
